Corporate Social Responsibility Kalla
Carries the mission of the Kalla Group of Companies to continuously be present in the community as a form of social responsibility. The Hadji Kalla Foundation was established and has consistently implemented various community empowerment programs. The empowerment of Human Resources, especially in Eastern Indonesia, is our main focus of social responsibility.
Established on April 24, 1984, the Hadji Kalla Foundation carries out the Corporate Social Responsibility program and channels the company's zakat funds with the vision: To be at the forefront in the development of Islam, the quality of education, health, the environment, and community empowerment.

The Hadji Kalla Foundation develops formal educational institutions ranging from Kindergarten to High School, under the name of Athirah Islamic School. It also provides assistance to students and government/private institutions to improve the quality and sustainability of education in Indonesia, particularly in South Sulawesi. The activities carried out include support for students, scholarships and student activities, assistance for schools, provision of educational infrastructure, as well as teacher capacity development and school management.

The Hadji Kalla Foundation presents Community Care and Development to enhance community independence towards a happy, healthy, and prosperous family life. This program focuses on guiding rural and urban communities to improve their standard of living, such as providing aid to disaster victims, blood donation, mass circumcision, house renovation assistance, facilities support, and solar power assistance. Additionally, another service from Community Care and Development includes organizing community social activities and empowering underprivileged communities by developing handicrafts and skills businesses in several villages across various regencies in South Sulawesi, such as in Pangkep, Gowa, Bone, Soppeng, Luwu, Jeneponto, and Gowa.

The Hadji Kalla Foundation also focuses on the development of Islamic communities. To date, several programs have been developed with the aim of enhancing the Islamic quality of the community, including the provision of worship facilities, Ramadan programs, Islamic education assistance, preaching activities, guidance for new Muslims (muallaf), Quran memorization (Hafidz Qur’an), and support for the underprivileged (dhuafa).

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) program aims to develop small and medium-sized businesses to create new entrepreneurs and improve the quality of the living environment. The services provided in this program include agricultural development, entrepreneurship development, and agribusiness development, such as the processing of passion fruit, coffee, and seaweed.

Recognizing the importance of health and environmental awareness for the community, the health and environmental program organizes several activities professionally, involving the government and relevant social organizations.
The activities carried out include family development, improving community nutrition and health, and providing environmental facilities. The main objective is to nurture and strengthen families, while improving the quality of health and the environment within the community.
